Pep Guardiola insists he is proud of his team’s performance despite a 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace.

Palace started well, taking the lead through Daniel Munoz in the fourth minute, but Erling Haaland headed home for City inside the first half hour.

The reigning Premier League champions are now winless in their last four away games, while they have won just one of their last nine matches in all competitions.

City sit fourth in the table and eight points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand after their scheduled Merseyside Derby against Everton was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

Nevertheless, Guardiola paid tribute to his players.

The home side then took the lead again in the second half through a header from Maxence Lacroix before Rico Lewis equalised for the visitors. Before he himself was shown a second yellow card in the 86th minute of the game.

“Very good, proud of the team. I like everything about the team, I like the way we fought. We had a lot of problems with our team,” Pep Guardiola said.

“We fought incredibly, we came back twice (from behind). It’s a tough stadium to come to, we struggled in the first half. We gave it our all and we got the points.”

“Long ball, two ball, they are stronger than us.”

“We didn’t start the โปรโมชั่น ufabet second half very well. After 2-1 we responded well,”

“We have to lose another defensive player (Rico Lewis) in the next game due to two yellow cards.”
