Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva admitted he was not happy with the point he earned from a 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace and insisted the team must do better.
A depleted City side had to come from behind twice to earn a point at Crystal Palace and while it meant they avoided a fifth Premier League defeat of the season the result left the players ‘unhappy’ after just one win from their last nine matches in all competitions. Silva accepts that injury have play their part in City’s predicament but is not prepare to use them as an excuse.
“One point is better than zero but we are not satisfy at the moment. We know our situation with the injuries. It is never easy to come to Crystal Palace but we have to do better.”
“When I finish the game and get one point, I’m not happy. That’s not how we built this team. That’s not our standard.”
