Mikel Arteta says he and new sporting director Andrea Berta have a shared understanding of who Arsenal want to sign this summer.

Berta, formerly of Atletico Madrid, was appointed as the new sporting director in March to replace Edu.
The upcoming transfer window โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที is a crucial one for the Gunners, with a new striker a key target.
Both Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko are on the north London club’s radar.
Asked if he and Berta had differences of opinion on the transfer market, Arteta said: “If that’s the case then we haven’t explained ourselves well enough and we haven’t been clear enough about what we want. I guarantee you that’s not going to happen.”
“That didn’t happen in five and a half years with Edu, and I can assure you Andrea didn’t either.”
“They (the club’s executives) were good at saying, ‘Look, Mikel, this is what we want’. I said, ‘Okay, go ahead’. And if we don’t do that then it’s because I’ll be asking a lot of questions as well and we’ll be working so hard that obviously this is something we don’t need to do.”
“Because we also learned a lot. Some signings worked very well while some didn’t.”
“And the things that don’t work, we have to learn from them to make sure we make the right decisions. We’re all human, and unfortunately, no one has a crystal ball here.”
