Ufabet Sport reported this week that Marseille are not keen on keeping Greenwood this summer amid speculation that two Premier League clubs are keen on bringing him back to England.
Greenwood told a press conference on Friday that he wanted to stay at Marseille next season.
“I hope to be here next year and play in the Champions League,” Greenwood said.
“The players told me it was special to play here,”
“I think it was a great season. We achieved our goal,”
“I just had a baby with my girlfriend here. I feel like I’m at home. This is a very special place.”
“There aren’t many people who get to Marseille and get to experience playing for such an amazing football club.”
“I’m happy and with the goals I’ve scored this season, it’s a big achievement for me. With the players and the staff we have here, anything is possible.”
