Girona are not giving up on their attempts to bring in Eric Garcia from Barcelona to bolster their squad once again.

Girona sporting director Enrique Garcel has confirmed the club’s interest in signing Barcelona defender Eric Garcia, 24, after the player impressed during his loan spell last season, Diario AS reports on Saturday.
Girona’s tried to sign Eric Garcia last summer but were unsuccessful, but the Catalan club did not give up and are เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง trying again in January.
‘In the summer we wanted to bring Eric Garcia back anyway, he’s still a Barcelona player and he’s doing quite well,’ Garcel said of the 24-year-old defender.
‘We intend to try to bring him in, but we have to rely on Barca to provide us with reasonable terms and we can do it.’
It must be noted that Garcia had spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Girona, where he emerged as a first-team regular for Michel’s defensive unit.
In fact, Garcia’s performances at the back were critical in helping Girona exceed all expectations and finish inside the top four.
Now, the former Man City defender may once again have the chance to rejoin his former, should Barcelona make it easy for the concerned party.
The club are actively looking for departures right now as they look to make space for Marcus Rashford in the wage bill. Garcia’s potential exit, therefore, could be something that Barça consider.
