How about a song from the quiet one amongst the group? Though the song was written by John and Paul, singing duties went to George Harrison since the song had a three note structure and Harrison was probably clamoring for a song that featured his voice even though he wasn’t the greatest singer at the time. “Do You Want to Know a Secret” is a sweet little tune that was inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarves‘ “I’m Wishing”, a song that Lennon’s mother would sing to him as a child. The lines, “Do you want to know a secret? Promise not to tell?” are featured in the Snow White prior to her breaking into song.
